We’re grateful they’re grateful.
If you are looking for a place to really try to change your life, Muse is a great place! The staff were all so in tune with what I was going through. If I ever had a problem, or was feeling like using, I could go to them and they'd talk to me. It didn’t matter what time of the day or night it was. I had never had people who cared about me so much that weren’t family. I still stay in touch with people I went through the house with, we go to meetings and go surfing and other things I never did when I was loaded. It’s a great life, and I really never thought I would be so happy.
I’ve been through 5 other detox programs and was pretty sure none of them would ever work. I decided to give it one more try before just resigning to being a junky the rest of my life. I found Muse and I have to say I am pretty surprised. I have over 8 months clean and it’s more time than I’ve had the last 11 years. All the groups were great, and the neuro-feedback was something I haven’t seen anywhere else. I still see my therapist and I am so happy. I am very grateful to Muse!
I never wanted to go to treatment. I always thought I could quit on my own. I tried myself dozens of times but always went back. I could stay quit for a day or two but never more. I didn’t know what to do. I thought I would die and never thought I could live without my drug. When I finally realized that I needed some help I was terrified. The staff at Muse really knew what I was going through. They had been through it themselves and showed me the way. I have never been sober this long in my life, and if I keep doing what I’m doing, what they taught me, I think I’ll stay sober.
I stayed at Muse Sober Living for two months. When I arrived I was very emotionally and spiritually sick. My drug and alcohol dependence nearly took my life on several occasions. The structure of being surrounded by others in recovery, having chores, going to meetings and never knowing when I would get tested helped me to stay sober long enough to let the program work me. Today I am grateful to say I am clean and sober for just under a year now. My life today, inside and out, is 180 degrees away in the right direction.
Muse utilizes an integrated approach to healing the brain. While most facilities focus on one general area, we emphasize a holistic, whole-brain approach in our drug rehab, alcohol treatment and dual diagnosis programs…

It can be hard to heal from the pain of a chronic drug addiction problem when you are still surrounded by everything you know. When you are addicted to alcohol and drugs, everything you pass, from the bar on the corner to the house where your dealer used to live, can serve as a trigger, and that can be enough to overcome even your most ardent efforts at recovery.
Trying to break free of a drug problem while surrounded by those triggers can be a difficult thing to do, but you do not have to struggle to stay clean every day, not when you can leave your home in San Diego and travel to a residential treatment center.
Inpatient drug addiction treatment has a number of important benefits, including the chance to get away and escape from your usual triggers. Instead of staying where you are, you get a chance to make a clean break, so you can focus entirely on your recovery, and on the building of coping skills you can use long after you leave rehab behind and move back home. If you are ready to get started, you can begin with a single phone call, so pick up the phone and give the experts at drug rehab San Diego a call today.
When it comes to treating drug addiction, alcoholism and other forms of substance use disorder, there are many different approaches, but not all of them are equally effective. If you want to have the best chance at getting better, sometimes the best first step is to get away, and that is what inpatient rehab is all about.
When you choose inpatient rehab, you get a chance to focus entirely on yourself and your needs, without the distractions of work, family and constant triggers. By focusing 100% on your recovery, you can increase your chances of success, with access to professional counselors, a full medical team and everything else you need to begin the healing process.
If you are thinking about going into residential rehab for your alcoholism or drug addiction, you probably have a lot of questions, and we understand those concerns and are here to address them. We want you to be fully informed, and that starts with knowing what to expect when you walk through our doors for the first time.
One of the first things you will notice is the spaciousness of our facility and the caring attitudes of our staff. Everything we do is designed to support you and help you heal, and we want you to feel right at home when you check into our residential drug rehab facility.
You will also undergo a thorough medical evaluation when you walk through our doors for the first time, and what we find will guide our treatment efforts and allow us to tailor the program to your unique needs. By assessing the current state of your physical, mental and psychological health we will be able to address all of your needs, helping you get clean and giving you the coping skills you will need to succeed and stay substance free long after you have returned to your home in San Diego.
If you think inpatient drug and alcohol rehab is the right choice for you or someone you love, we encourage you to take the first step to a better life today. All it takes to get started is a single phone call, so pick up the phone today and give us a call.
You probably have a lot of questions if you are thinking about going into inpatient rehab or trying to convince an addicted family member to do the same. You may wonder, for instance, how long you will be staying with us, and what you can expect when you return back home to San Diego to resume your life.
At Muse we want you to have all the answers, and we want you to know what to expect when you work with us and trust us with your recovery. The first thing we want you to know is that there is no such thing as a typical drug addict or alcoholic, and overcoming addiction will always be a highly personal experience.
That is why we offer a number of different options for inpatient and residential rehab, from stays as short as 30 days to ones as long as 60 or 90 days. When you work with us, we will design a residential rehab protocol that is affordable, effective and carefully tailored to your needs, and it all starts with a single phone call.
Overcoming addiction is not an easy thing to do, and simply admitting you have a problem is a brave thing to do. Just being here and reading these words means you have made that admission, and we commend you on the courage you have already shown.
Now it is time to keep going, and we invite you to explore the path to recovery with the staff at Muse by your side. We cannot walk the road to recovery for you, but we can walk it with you, and the processes and procedures we have put in place are all designed to make your path easier and more successful.
From the medical team we have assembled and the special training we have provided to the nutritionists we employ and the delicious food we serve at every meal, everything we do is designed to support you as your body and your mind begin to heal. At Muse Treatment our success is your success, and our number one goal is to give you the support you need to not only get clean but stay that way for a lifetime.
If you or someone you care about has been struggling with alcoholism or drug addiction, we encourage you to take the next step today, and all it takes is a single phone call. Just pick up the phone and give us a call today – we are waiting to hear from you.
