We’re grateful they’re grateful.
If you are looking for a place to really try to change your life, Muse is a great place! The staff were all so in tune with what I was going through. If I ever had a problem, or was feeling like using, I could go to them and they'd talk to me. It didn’t matter what time of the day or night it was. I had never had people who cared about me so much that weren’t family. I still stay in touch with people I went through the house with, we go to meetings and go surfing and other things I never did when I was loaded. It’s a great life, and I really never thought I would be so happy.
I’ve been through 5 other detox programs and was pretty sure none of them would ever work. I decided to give it one more try before just resigning to being a junkie the rest of my life. I found Muse and I have to say I am pretty surprised. I have over 8 months clean and it’s more time than I’ve had the last 11 years. All the groups were great, and the neuro-feedback was something I haven’t seen anywhere else. I still see my therapist and I am so happy. I am very grateful to Muse!
I never wanted to go to treatment. I always thought I could quit on my own. I tried myself dozens of times but always went back. I could stay quit for a day or two but never more. I didn’t know what to do. I thought I would die and never thought I could live without my drug. When I finally realized that I needed some help I was terrified. The staff at Muse really knew what I was going through. They had been through it themselves and showed me the way. I have never been sober this long in my life, and if I keep doing what I’m doing, what they taught me, I think I’ll stay sober.
I stayed at Muse Sober Living for two months. When I arrived I was very emotionally and spiritually sick. My drug and alcohol dependence nearly took my life on several occasions. The structure of being surrounded by others in recovery, having chores, going to meetings and never knowing when I would get tested helped me to stay sober long enough to let the program work me. Today I am grateful to say I am clean and sober for just under a year now. My life today, inside and out, is 180 degrees away in the right direction.

At Muse Treatment, we have 24-hour emotional and medical support available to help with the transition to rehab after detox is over. Our facility is community-oriented, with structured daily living with peers who are going through the same thing you are. Many of our staff are in recovery, and are there to give non-judgmental, supportive help as you take the time to heal yourself.

Being in a new environment can help you find the time to focus on yourself and your own recovery. We have nutritional support, diet planning, and exercise facilities, so you can work on physical wellness alongside your mental well being.
After our in-depth intake interview, where we screen for mental illness and other issues that may require dual diagnosis treatments, you will stop drinking and taking drugs. At Muse Treatment, we offer a medically assisted therapy to get you through detoxing as easily and safely as possible. Our detox and rehab programs are tailored to each unique person’s individual addiction, body, metabolism, and circumstances.
After detox, we offer 24-hour medical and emotional support, as you transition into our inpatient rehabilitation program. Rehab takes place in one of our comfortable, home-like, community-oriented facilities. This is where you will take the time to learn about yourself and your goals for your future. You will gain the tools and skills you need to live an independent, self-directed life, without using drugs or alcohol.
At Muse Treatment, we offer counselling, not only for addiction, but also health, life skills, and even vocational training. Our wide variety of therapy options mean that you will find something that will work for you. Everybody is different, and each person will respond better to some options than others. We offer one-on-one psychotherapy, family therapy, couples counselling, experiential therapy, behavioral therapy, and more.
The facility is community oriented, and you will be surrounded by peers who are in a similar situation to you. We have game nights, movie nights, sports, off-site outings, and other opportunities to make new, sober connections, and learn new hobbies or pastimes that don’t involve drinking alcohol.
Once you finish your time in residential treatment, you will move on to an outpatient program. This can be paired with a sober living home, if needed. Our thriving community of alumni will often hold gatherings and meetings that you can attend, fostering a life-long sober support group. Once you join us at Muse, you will have access to the therapies and amenities you will need to lower your risk of relapsing.
The timeline for alcohol rehab is different for every person. Detox generally takes around 6 to 10 days, and then there are many paths you can take. We offer 30-, 60, and 90-day options for residential inpatient treatment, and we can customize a plan to fit your needs. We always encourage our clients to remain in treatment for as long as they need, because your comfort and confidence is important as you get ready to transition to outpatient care. A longer stay in a residential program will lower the risk of relapse.
In our 30-day residential rehabilitation program, you will have a full month to focus on yourself and your recovery. Our community-oriented facility has structured daily living amongst peers, and empathetic and highly trained staff. We offer a variety of therapies, exercise facilities, fresh and healthy food and nutritional support. You will have access to 24-hour medical and emotional support, and will gain the skills you need to live independently, without alcohol or drugs.
Our 60-day rehabilitation program gives you the time you need to work and focus on yourself and learn to navigate life while sober, in a safe, community-oriented environment. We have gatherings, diet and nutritional support, day trips, and game and movie nights. We have the option for couples rehab, and pets are allowed. Our clinical staff is available 24 hours a day.
Long-term rehab can last for 90 days if you wish. It is recommended to stay longer if you have a history of relapse, as the more time spent in treatment, therapy, and away from old habits and temptations, the higher the chance of a long-term, successful recovery.
At Muse, we focus on you as a whole person, not just an addiction. With our trauma-informed care and therapies, we offer integrated care, with dual diagnosis, treating co-occurring conditions like mental health issues or PTSD.
Our facilities have amenities like an on-site chef who can accommodate special dietary needs, TV in the rooms, full-size beds, exercise facilities, and games. Pets are allowed, smoking is allowed in designated areas, and couples are allowed. We have game nights and movie nights, and off-site outings, like beach trips, surfing and hiking, so you can find new activities you can enjoy while sober.
Muse is a peaceful place to detox and rehabilitate, with comprehensive care that focuses on your unique goals, needs, and budget. The scenic location will give you a break from the stresses and triggers of everyday life, and will provide the serenity needed to focus on yourself and your recovery.
