We’re grateful they’re grateful.
If you are looking for a place to really try to change your life, Muse is a great place! The staff were all so in tune with what I was going through. If I ever had a problem, or was feeling like using, I could go to them and they'd talk to me. It didn’t matter what time of the day or night it was. I had never had people who cared about me so much that weren’t family. I still stay in touch with people I went through the house with, we go to meetings and go surfing and other things I never did when I was loaded. It’s a great life, and I really never thought I would be so happy.
I’ve been through 5 other detox programs and was pretty sure none of them would ever work. I decided to give it one more try before just resigning to being a junky the rest of my life. I found Muse and I have to say I am pretty surprised. I have over 8 months clean and it’s more time than I’ve had the last 11 years. All the groups were great, and the neuro-feedback was something I haven’t seen anywhere else. I still see my therapist and I am so happy. I am very grateful to Muse!
I never wanted to go to treatment. I always thought I could quit on my own. I tried myself dozens of times but always went back. I could stay quit for a day or two but never more. I didn’t know what to do. I thought I would die and never thought I could live without my drug. When I finally realized that I needed some help I was terrified. The staff at Muse really knew what I was going through. They had been through it themselves and showed me the way. I have never been sober this long in my life, and if I keep doing what I’m doing, what they taught me, I think I’ll stay sober.
I stayed at Muse Sober Living for two months. When I arrived I was very emotionally and spiritually sick. My drug and alcohol dependence nearly took my life on several occasions. The structure of being surrounded by others in recovery, having chores, going to meetings and never knowing when I would get tested helped me to stay sober long enough to let the program work me. Today I am grateful to say I am clean and sober for just under a year now. My life today, inside and out, is 180 degrees away in the right direction.
Muse utilizes an integrated approach to healing the brain. While most facilities focus on one general area, we emphasize a holistic, whole-brain approach in our drug rehab, alcohol treatment and dual diagnosis programs…

When you find yourself trapped in the morass of drug addiction, it can be difficult to know what to do. You know you have a problem with drugs, and you know that your life would be infinitely better if you could break the chains of addiction and break free of your growing dependency.
At the same time you have a home and family in San Diego, and you worry about what will happen to them were you to go away to a residential rehab facility. You are concerned that your employment would go away, or that you would have to withdraw from your classes at the local college. You are concerned that you will have to give up the future you imagine to break free of your addiction.
Put simply, you wonder if there is another path forward, a path that will allow you to continue working and going to school, all while getting the help you need with your addiction. The answer to that question is yes, and when you work with Muse you can truly enjoy the best of both worlds. That is what outpatient rehab is all about, and why this approach to treating drug addiction can be especially effective for residents of San Diego and the surrounding area.
If you are addicted to drugs, you know you need to do something about it, and you know that the sooner you get help the better off you will be. You know that your growing dependency will only grow worse and worse as time goes on, and that even if you are functional today you may not always be so lucky.
Even if you are able to hold a job and go to school, you know that you need to get help with your addiction, but you do not want to give up what you have for what you hope to have. If you want to preserve the life you have now and work your way toward sobriety and clean living, our outpatient rehab protocol could give you the best of all possible worlds.
Outpatient rehab has a number of important benefits, starting with the fact that you can continue to go to school and hold down a job, so you can support your family and live your life, all while you get the help you need. If you are ready to do something about your addiction but do not want to leave home to do it, we encourage you to give us a call today.
When you choose the outpatient drug rehab model to address your drug addiction, you can enjoy a number of important benefits, starting with the ability to care for your home and family. Instead of traveling to a far off city, you can stay right where you are in San Diego, where you will be surrounded by your family members and friends and your well known surroundings.
The ability to work and go to school can be very important, not only for your comfort and safety but for your overall well being as well. Instead of worrying about your family members left behind, you can see them every day, getting their support and enjoying their love while you heal and work to break free of your longstanding addiction.
Not knowing what to expect is always scary, especially when it comes to something as vitally important as getting treatment for your drug addiction. If you are ready to get well, you deserve to know what you can expect, and at Muse Addiction Treatment Center we want you to enter treatment fully informed.
When you enroll in our outpatient drug rehab program, we will work hard to determine the current state of your health, so we can design a treatment protocol that will meet all your needs, so you can begin the healing process right away and return home each night with a newfound sense of confidence. We know that the more you know about how outpatient drug rehab works the more you will agree that it is the right choice for yourself and your family.
When it comes time to enroll in our outpatient drug rehab program, you may still have some questions, and we are there to provide the answers. One of the most frequent questions we get is how long outpatient treatment will last, and there is no easy answer to that query.
That is because we take a customized approach to treating the problem of drug addiction, one that requires a tailored course of rehab. That means that the amount of time you spend with our outpatient counselors may differ from the experience of other San Diego residents, but that is actually a good thing.
If you are ready to take the next step on your personal road to recovery, we encourage you to pick up the phone today. When you make the call we will work hard to find the right balance for you, so you can break the chains of addiction and still enjoy the support of your friends and family members.
We know that you have many choices when it comes time to seek help with your drug addiction, and we know that you may still have a lot of questions. That is why we have worked so hard to make our outpatient treatment protocol the best around, and it is why we have designed our program for maximum effectiveness and affordability.
From the support of our medical team to the experience and expertise of our caring counselors, everything we do has been carefully designed with your success, recovery, and sober living in mind. Your success is our success, and we want to be your partner in recovery.
