Client Praises Muse Treatment for Helping Him Through Every Step of the Addiction Recovery Process

Los Angeles, California— Many addicts must struggle through several attempts before they achieve sobriety. For those who finally make it, it’s often the treatment team who makes the difference. That was the experience for Alfredo, a former client at Muse Treatment Center, who enthusiastically praised the team in a five-star review on Google.

“Best rehab I have ever gone to, hands down!” Alfredo wrote. “From weeks before coming into treatment, I stayed in communication with Jose (the program director), and he helped me find somewhere for me and my girlfriend since we couldn’t go into the detox house together. We stayed in communication until I was done, and he helped me through every step.”

Muse Treatment is a network of drug and alcohol addiction centers in Los Angeles and throughout Southern California, offering comprehensive treatment of substance use disorders. Programs include medically assisted detox and residential and outpatient rehab and cover the whole journey toward sobriety, from medically supervised detox to residential and outpatient rehab and continuing through post-treatment follow-up. In addition, clients learn to develop new coping mechanisms for the life struggles that might have contributed to their addiction, to improve their chances of continued sobriety after leaving treatment.

Treatment methods and therapies are individualized to meet each client’s unique needs. Muse offers a variety of services for different stages of recovery – from structured, intensive residential care to supportive outpatient communities that are there to help each other as long as it takes.

Still, the focus is constant for all patients: learning new coping skills to enable true long-term sobriety. In addition, clients learn how to identify and prevent relapse, which is a high risk after leaving treatment.

Relapse prevention is a significant part of the Muse program, including guidance in developing stress reduction skills.

Alfredo had been to several rehab programs before finding success at Muse. That’s not an unusual experience for addicts. Many struggles for years to overcome their addiction. Many will relapse several times until they finally find lasting success. Muse treats addiction as a continuing journey with false starts and dead ends; as long as the client desires to journey on, true sobriety is possible.

Alfredo credited the Muse staff with showing him the compassion he needed to try one more time to continue his recovery journey.

“All the staff is amazing, and they have shown the most genuine love I could feel,” he enthused. “It is almost as if we were all family!”

The compassion and caring of the Muse staff are exceeded only by their professional credentials. The team includes accredited and experienced experts who design individualized treatment plans for each client’s mental and physical needs. They are part of an extensive team that includes medical professionals, behavioral health specialists, addiction-treatment experts, and fully licensed and credentialed therapists.

Emotional support is one of the essential elements of recovery, and having the most important person in your life support your journey can be a significant weapon in your battle. When that person also understands what you’re going through because they’re experiencing it as well, the support becomes even more meaningful. No matter how positive and well-intentioned other people are, they can’t match the understanding that an addicted spouse or partner brings to your treatment.

“So thank you for all the love from everybody,” Alfredo continued. “I would recommend this place to anybody! Hands down!”
